Neon City VR

Lead VR Interaction Developer @ USC Games, ~2023

VR City Building Sandbox Experience for Quest headsets

As the interaction lead, I oversaw the design, prototyping, and implementation of all hand-based interactions and unique spatial gameplay features. My work on Neon City demonstrates my multidisciplinary background in art, engineering, and user-centric design thinking. I utilized a wide range of tools to effectively communicate ideas and iterate quickly, including Unity C#, Figma for interactive prototypes, and Maya for modeling.

Neon City was recognized as the top game project at USC in 2023 and was presented to major game industry leaders and university boards across Southern California.

Catch Me If You Can

1st Place @ Meta XR Presence Platform NY Hackathon, 2024

A co-located multiplayer mixed reality app that reimagines hide and seek by immersing your world in complete darkness, altering the way in which you navigate your physical space.

Developed in just 72 hours, I designed and developed the core game loop, including a networked hider-seeker tagging system, game timer, player position tracking, and user interfaces. The game features Meta's advanced mixed reality features including shared spatial anchor, depth sensor data, spatial audio, and shared point cloud data.

Catch Me If You Can won 1st place in Meta's invite-only hackathon in NYC.

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight

Software Engineering Intern @ Blizzard Entertainment, 2022

I worked on developing gameplay UI features for Dragonflight expansion launched in November 2022. I contributed to the major UI revamp, including character class specialization selection, multiplayer HUD interface displaying players' live health and spell status, and enhanced feature support in game settings. I developed these features using Lua, C++, and XML.

Through my strong communication skills and day-to-day close collaboration with art and design teams, I went well beyond my assigned tasks, making significant contributions to the HUD during my internship

Chinatown AR

AR Developer & Project Lead @ USC Mobile & Environmental Media Lab, ~2022

A geolocated AR experience embedding historic traces of LA's first Chinatown in LA Union Station.

I led a team of over six undergraduate and graduate students in developing an AR experience for iOS devices. I spearheaded the prototyping and implementation of the app.

This project received the NEH Prototyping Grant and was prominently featured in the keynote at Niantic's Developer Summit in 2022

Playbook

VR Developer @ Playbook, ~2022

A code-free interaction design and prototyping Tool for XR.

As one of the pioneering developers at Playbook, I developed core features for Playbook's VR app, including UI presets, gesture-based interactions, custom image selection tools, tutorials, and a sound and haptics system.

The VR app's success led to a partnership with Meta to launch the product as a first-year app on the Quest Pro
